Consumer Electronics Brand KREO Secures Rs 6.5 Cr in Seed Funding Round

KREO, the consumer electronics brand, secures Rs 6.5 crore in seed funding through a combination of equity and debt financing. The funding round is led by Sauce VC, with notable contributions from the Chona Family Office, Revant Bhate (Co-founder at Mosaic Wellness), and Bala Sarda (Founder at Vahdam Teas).

In a press release, KREO stated that the raised funds will be utilized for various purposes, including brand building, product development, supporting growth initiatives, and team expansion.

Founded in 2022 by Ishan Sukul, Niraj Chitnis, and Himanshu Gupta, KREO is a Bengaluru-based start-up specializing in the development of innovative and user-friendly electronics for content creators and gamers. The company’s existing product range includes lighting and audio products, tripods, and various accessories. Additionally, KREO has plans to expand its offerings in the near future by introducing mobile and PC gaming products.

KREO boasts a product portfolio of 10 innovative offerings, and in the upcoming year, the company plans to unveil more than 50 groundbreaking solutions tailored for gamers and creators. With a remarkable growth rate of over 200% in the last six months, KREO is well-positioned to achieve an annual revenue run rate exceeding $6 million (Rs 50 crore) by the end of the current fiscal year.

KREO also has its sights set on India’s dynamic consumer electronics market, which is expected to reach an estimated value of Rs 1,40,000-1,80,000 crore by 2025. With a projected compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15-20%, the market presents significant opportunities for KREO’s expansion and success.
