BNPL startup ShopSe raises $6.1 Mn From Beenext, Chiratae, White Venture Capital


Shopse, the BNPL start-up has raised $6.1 million from investors such as Beenext, White Venture Capital and Chiratae Ventures as a part of strategic series A funding. The instant no cost EMI digital raised $5.5 million in a seed round previous year.

Changing the payment experience for everyone, shopse was founded by Abhishek Nimonkar, Pallav Jain, Yagnesh Desai in 2020. It enables users to pay with no cost installments and in an easy way. One of the largest fintech platform’s pay later marketplace has removed the tedious documentation process. It enables credit eligibility in real time and provides EMI solutions for customers in online and offline space.

With brand partners like Asus, Whirlpool,Voltas, Bluestar, Daikin, Realme along with many others, Shopse has grown from 10 to more than 300 team members since the previous fundraise. Collaborating with digital partners like HDFC, ICICI,Axis ,kotak,IIFL and others this fintech company has increased its presence from 2,000 to more than 35000 retail points.

This Series A fund round will enable the company to increase its performance, efficiency,grow lender partnerships, accelerate serviceability to 15,000+ retailers and make it affordable to reach out to over 45 million Indian consumers. 

“With the help of our lending partners, we have been able to bring change for 35,000 retailers serving customers in 500+ locations across the country. We are committed to solving for convenient affordability at point of purchase by working with our partners to build the right digital offerings for the market,”added Pallav Jain, co-founder and CEO of shopse.
