BITS Pilani partners with CoinDCX so as to enable crypto education in India

CoinDCX, an Indian crypto exchange, announced its partnership with the Computer Science Department of BITS Pilani with the aim to train over 100 students in the span of one year in blockchain technology.
CoinDCX said in a statement that, this collaborative initiative aims to counteract misinformation and drive awareness among students in emerging technologies, as crypto moves closer to mainstream adoption.
Educational projects in blockchain and crypto, including smart contracts and DApps development have been aimed to be focused on by the initiative.
The significance of blockchain literacy and encourages students to pursue research in the field of decentralised systems has been aimed to emphasize on. The overall strategic goal of improving India’s understanding and expertise in crypto and blockchain technology has also been insynced by CoinDCX.
It has also been emphasised by Sumit Gupta, CEO and Co-founder of CoinDCX that the necessity of crypto in advancing the Indian economy. Over 100 students would be trained in blockchain technology, in the one year course period. A learning resource platform, DCX Learn, has been launched by CoinDCX in 2020 in order to build awareness around crypto and blockchain.
