B2B Packaging Solutions Startup: DCGpac raises $1.5 Mn in a Pre-Series round via Venture Catalyst, others

DCGpac, the B2B packaging solutions startup raised about $1.5 Mn in a Pre-Series A round led by Venture Catalysts, 9Unicorns. The round also saw participation from Inflection Point Ventures. 

For building the technology front,  implementing other growth initiatives, marketing, and managing the working capital requirements of the startup, the funds will be used, as per a press statement.

DCGpac, founded in 2005 by Suresh Bansal and Seema Bansal, is a tech-enabled e-commerce platform that offers quality and value for money packaging products to its customers. Product lines such as raw materials, warehouse supplies, and corporate products are offered by it.

In November last year, in a funding round led by Venture Catalysts, and 9Unicorns, DCGpac also raised INR 5 Cr.

Suresh Bansal, founder of DCGpac said that so far since inception, the packaging startup has raised $2.68 Mn in funding.

Since its inception, with a team of 100+ people, 3,500+ product stock keeping units and three fulfilment centers, DCGpac has expanded to more than 12,000 pin codes in India, serving over 18,000 MSME/SME customers.

Some of the well-known brands including Puma, Blinkit, Zomato, and DTDC are included in its B2B clientele. Micro small and medium enterprises and individual customers are also served by it.

To solve the problem of inconsistent packaging quality, sustainable packaging solutions, the need for variety, customisation and value have been claimed by DCGpac.
