Apple Fitness+ introduces new ‘Collections’ feature and ‘Time to Run’ series

Apple Fitness+ has introduced a new “Collection” feature and a new “Runtime” series since January 10th. The collection is a selection of training and meditations from the Fitness + Library, organized to help you reach your goals. Based on approximately 2,000 training units, this feature provides a new way for users to motivate themselves at the start of their next training session. According to Apple, Collections provides users with suggested plans to help them decide on a particular workout. The six collections available at the time of the

launch include “30-day core challenge,” “improve posture with Pilates,” “perfect yoga balance poses,” “perform the first 5K,” and “. Strengthen your back, stretch your hips, relax. ”

 ‘Time to Run’

Apple’s new Time to Run series is an enhanced version of the Time to Walk feature introduced last year. The company describes the new series as an audio running experience designed to help users  become more consistent and better runners. Each episode of the series focuses on  popular running routes and includes fitness + trainer-led coaching tips. Episodes contain playlists tailored to the intensity, location, and coaching of each run. Each episode also includes a photo of the route taken by the fitness + trainer.

Time to Run begins with three episodes. Cory Wharton-London coached by Malcolm. Brooklyn trained by Emily Fayette. And Miami Beach, trained by Sam Sanchez. New episodes in the series appear every Monday. Apple recommends that for wheelchair users of Apple Watch, the run time will be run time or push time, allowing users to start “outdoor push running pace” training.
