Wurker, online workspace platform recently raised seed funding of over £1 million led by Hindustan Media Ventures Limited (HMVL). The press statement issued by Wurkr showcases investments of £700,000, and £188,000 made by HMVL and raised through equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs respectively.

By securing this funding amount, where Wurkr has surpassed its original funding target by 25 percent with over 200 investors taking part. As part of the Seedrs lead investment round, angel investor Yan van de Velde contributed £100,000.

According to Wurkr, the capital amount raised through the seed funding round will be used by the platform to drive global growth, lead team expansion, further product development and maximising advertising and marketing activities.
