Accel Announces Third Cohort for Atoms Accelerator Program, Focused on AI and Industry 5.0

In a move to nurture innovation in the realms of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Industry 5.0, renowned venture capital firm Accel has unveiled the third cohort of its esteemed accelerator program, Atoms. The cohort comprises eight promising pre-seed startups poised to make waves in these cutting-edge domains.

Among the startups selected for this cohort are Spintly, Asets, Tune AI, Skoob, Arivihan, and Meritic, each bringing a unique perspective and solution to the table.

Accel’s Atoms accelerator program is a six-month initiative tailored to empower startups with pre-seed funding of up to $500,000. Beyond financial backing, participants gain access to a myriad of perks offered by Accel’s extensive network partners. Personalized mentorship and the opportunity to collaborate with founders from prior Atoms cohorts and portfolio companies further enrich the experience.

The impact of Atoms extends far beyond the confines of its cohorts, with the 24 startups from previous editions collectively raising over $200 million in funding since the program’s inception. The success stories of these ventures underscore the efficacy of Atoms in fostering groundbreaking innovation.

The third iteration of Atoms marks a strategic shift towards thematic program design, with a laser focus on AI and Industry 5.0. Prayank Swaroop and Barath Shankar Subramanian, partners at Accel, spearhead the AI and Industry 5.0 domains respectively, offering invaluable guidance to the cohort.

Prayank Swaroop expressed, “The shift to a thematic program design for Atoms 3.0 has enabled us to provide deeper, sector-focused mentorship for the startups. Atoms has always restricted itself to smaller cohort sizes to stay hyper-focused on the needs of a smaller group of exceptional founders.”
