Vast Data raises $1b at $30b valuation

Vast Data, an Israeli-founded AI infrastructure company headquartered in the US, raised US$1 billion at a US$30 billion valuation.
More than US$500 million of the round was secondary and will go to early investors and employees selling shares, the report said.
The valuation is over three times the US$9.1 billion figure from the 2023 round and makes Vast the most valuable private Israeli tech firm, according to Calcalist.
Founded in 2016, Vast sells software to store and retrieve data for AI workloads and has offices in Israel and the US.
Vast had a US$200 million ARR run rate in 2023, estimated about US$2 billion ARR by end-2025, and listed investors including Nvidia, Tiger Global, and Goldman Sachs.
