Nuuk Secures $2 Mn in Follow-On Funding from Vertex Ventures SEA and Good Capital

Indian home appliance brand Nuuk has raised over $2 million (~Rs 19 crore) in a follow-on funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India (SEA&I) and Good Capital. Both investors had also participated in Nuuk’s earlier Series A round in February 2025.
This latest infusion brings the company’s total funding to over $10 million (~Rs 90 crore), signaling sustained investor confidence in its product innovation and brand vision. The funding will be used to expand Nuuk’s Made-in-India supply chain, strengthen brand presence, and continue product development across its range of home and kitchen appliances.
Founded by Gazal Kalra and Shalabh Gupta, Nuuk is a design-first direct-to-consumer (D2C) home appliance brand that focuses on solving real-world problems through human-centric engineering. The company designs and manufactures its products in India and sells them directly to consumers via online channels.
Nuuk has built a loyal customer base by offering high-performance, aesthetically designed appliances tailored for the needs of urban Indian households. Its full-stack model—from in-house product design to controlled supply chains and online-first distribution—sets it apart from legacy brands and mass-market imports.
The startup is riding the growing wave of consumer preference for locally manufactured, premium home appliances, with an emphasis on innovation, durability, and user-centric design.
The latest capital injection is expected to further fuel Nuuk’s growth in the competitive home appliance space, as it scales operations and strengthens its position as a homegrown alternative to global brands.
