Bengaluru-based AI startup Thesys has raised $4 million (approximately INR 33.7 crore) in a seed funding round led by Together Fund, with additional participation from 8vc. This fresh capital will be used to further develop Thesys’ platform, designed to assist enterprises in ideating, visualizing, and deploying intelligent, AI-driven interfaces that adapt to users’ real-time needs.
Founded by industry veterans Rabi Shanker Guha and Parikshit Deshmukh, Thesys is committed to enhancing design workflows and accelerating launch timelines for teams focused on AI-empowered user interfaces. The startup’s core product, the “Generative UI” platform, allows businesses to create adaptable interfaces that adjust based on individual user behavior, delivering a new level of personalized user experience.
“The platform allows teams to launch dynamic, AI-driven interfaces, delivering high-quality experiences 4x faster. This streamlined approach accelerates go-to-market timelines and gives businesses an edge with engaging, adaptive user experiences that transform customer connections,” said cofounder Parikshit Deshmukh.
Manav Garg, Managing Partner at Together Fund, expressed confidence in Thesys’ vision for Generative UI, stating, “Thesys’s vision for Generative UI aligns perfectly with Together Fund’s commitment to enabling founders who are redefining the user experience. By empowering teams to create real-time, personalised interactions, Thesys is setting a new standard for AI-driven interfaces.”
The funding comes amid rising interest in task-specific AI models, as many companies are now opting for models focused on specific tasks due to their effectiveness and cost efficiency compared to larger foundational models. This trend has led to increased investments in AI startups across India. For example, earlier today, Hyderabad-based AI startup Pulse raised $1.4 million (INR 11.8 crore) in a seed funding round led by Endiya Partners. Additionally, AI-enabled accounting and bookkeeping platform Febi.ai recently secured $2 million from Lumis Partners, former JP Morgan executive Virender Rana, and Lenskart co-founder Amit Chaudhary, while legal tech startup Jhana.ai raised $1.6 million in September.
At the beginning of the year, Ola’s AI arm, Krutrim AI, became India’s first AI unicorn after securing $50 million in funding.
According to Inc42’s GenAI Startup Landscape Report, India now hosts over 100 generative AI startups, collectively raising over $600 million since 2019. The country’s generative AI market is expected to experience significant growth, potentially surpassing $17 billion by 2030.
