Swiggy Instamart Appoints Sairam Krishnamurthy as Chief Operating Officer

With over 18 years of experience in leadership roles across FMCG, consumer tech, and retail sectors, Sairam is well-equipped to guide Swiggy Instamart through its next phase of growth. His previous roles include serving as the Chief Operating Officer of the supermarket business at More Retail, where he also held the position of Chief Merchandising Officer. Additionally, Sairam has worked as Head of India Supply at Ola Mobility and spent 14 years at Hindustan Unilever Limited in various sales, marketing, and innovation roles. He holds an engineering degree from BITS Pilani and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore.

This appointment is the latest in a series of senior leadership hires at Swiggy Instamart. In recent months, the quick commerce platform has brought on board several industry veterans, including Himavant Srikrishna Kurnala as Senior Vice President of Product and Business, Aakash Bhotika as Vice President – Technical Advisor, Mayank Rajvaidya as Vice President of Fruits & Vegetables, and Manu Sasidharan as Associate Vice President of the FMCG Category for Instamart.
