OYO Launches First Luxury Hotel in Dubai, Targets Indian Tourists with Special Packages

Hospitality chain OYO has announced the launch of its first luxury hotel in Dubai, the Palette Royal Reflections Hotel and Spa. This significant addition marks OYO’s entry into the premium hospitality segment in the Middle East.

OYO’s decision to launch a luxury property in Dubai comes as the company anticipates a substantial increase in the number of Indian tourists visiting the city, driven by the relaxed visa policies. The company projects over 1 lakh Indian tourists to visit Dubai this year. In 2023, Dubai welcomed 11.9 million visitors, with India topping the list of countries in terms of entries, followed by Saudi Arabia and the UK, with 6.7 million and 5.9 million tourists respectively.

Nitin Gupta, Business Head, OYO Middle East, expressed confidence in the potential of the new venture. “The combination of rising affluence, the perception of Dubai as a luxury destination, and the desire for exclusive experiences among Indian tourists is expected to drive the demand for premium hotels in Dubai. We have been seeing a surge in the number of Indian tourists asking for luxury accommodation in the region. OYO plans to meet the requirements of tourists visiting Dubai through this initiative,” he said.

The Palette Royal Reflections Hotel and Spa aims to offer Indian tourists a taste of luxury with specially curated packages that cater to their preferences and needs. This move is part of OYO’s broader strategy to expand its premium property footprint globally, particularly in the Middle East.

OYO’s statement highlighted that the initiative aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in the premium hospitality segment worldwide. As Dubai continues to attract tourists from around the globe, the introduction of OYO’s luxury hotel is expected to enhance the city’s reputation as a prime destination for high-end travel experiences.
