Kimbal Technologies Secures $5M for Smart Metering Solutions Expansion

Kimbal Technologies secures $5 million in a growth round led by Niveshaay. The company specializes in providing an integrated Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solution, encompassing smart meters, RF-Mesh communication technologies, and an open-architecture Head-End system.
According to the company, it has already deployed over one million smart meters and intends to utilize the raised funds to expand its existing operations and develop new products.
Ayush Sinhal, CEO of Kimbal Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s trajectory, stating, “It’s an exciting time for us at Kimbal.”
Sinhal emphasized the importance of a reliable and energy-efficient energy distribution grid, particularly as India strives to become the next economic powerhouse.
He added, “Access to a smart, reliable, and energy-efficient energy distribution grid is a non-negotiable prerequisite.”
Sinhal further highlighted the company’s strategic focus on ensuring both steep and steady growth, emphasizing the need for stability amidst expansion.
“We are growing at a solid pace, and I am strategically focused on ensuring that our growth is not only steep but also steady and sturdy,” Sinhal remarked.
