Venture Catalysts Funds Knocksense in Pre-Series A Investment Round

Venture Catalysts has chosen to invest in Knocksense during its pre-Series A funding phase, though the exact amount remains undisclosed. This round has seen contributions from notable figures such as Mohit Satyanand, Nitish Mittersain, and Venus Dhuria, among others.
According to the founders Vibhore and Varul Mayank, Knocksense, established in 2016, focuses on generating hyperlocal content. They stated, “Recently, the company launched its flagship product KnockOFF, which helps to establish a connection between local brands and consumers.”
Knocksense has already secured $1 million in this pre-Series A funding round, showcasing strong support from investors like Mumbai Angels Network, Lets Venture, We Founder Circle, and singer Lucky Ali.
The startup operates on a subscription-driven commerce model, blending curated content feeds with exclusive privileges at local establishments. Its user-friendly interface has contributed to its success, particularly in cities like Lucknow, Indore, Kanpur, Bandra (Mumbai), and Ahmedabad.
Vibhore and Varul Mayank expressed their vision for the platform, emphasizing its role in connecting consumers with local brands. They aim to continue expanding Knocksense’s geographic presence, leveraging its existing success as a foundation for growth.
With the backing of Venture Catalysts and other prominent investors, Knocksense is well-positioned to strengthen its market presence and further innovate within the hyperlocal content-commerce space.
