Gensol Engineering Secures Rs 75 Crore Order to Lease 500 Electric Cargo Vehicles

Gensol Engineering Ltd has announced that it has clinched an order worth Rs 75 crore to lease out 500 electric cargo vehicles from a logistics firm. The subsidiary company, Gensol EV Lease Pvt Ltd, facilitated this significant work order, which has already seen the leasing of an initial batch of over 20 electric vehicles (EVs). The remaining EVs are slated for deployment over the next six months across five states, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
The order also signifies Gensol Engineering’s involvement with customers in the public sector units, last-mile delivery, and employee transportation sectors, with a leasing requirement of over 100 electric vehicles. Gensol EV Lease Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of Gensol Engineering, specializes in EV-focused leasing solutions.
