StampThePassport Secures Rs 4 Crore in Pre-Seed Funding for Online Visa Application Platform Launch

Mumbai-based startup StampThePassport has raised Rs 4 crore in a pre-seed funding round from angel investors and private families, marking its official launch in the online visa application market.

While the startup hasn’t disclosed the names of investors participating in the round, it aims to transform the visa application process for travelers by offering a convenient online platform.

Founded by Vijay Kesavan, StampThePassport enables travelers to apply for visas from the comfort of their homes. The platform prides itself on efficiency, claiming that most visa applications can be completed in under five minutes. Moreover, it’s available in multiple languages, including English, Marathi, Hindi, and Gujarati.

StampThePassport offers a range of pricing options, with fees starting from Rs 500 to Rs 1,200 for standard online visa applications and around Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 for its Visa Pro model.

In the competitive landscape of online visa application platforms, StampThePassport faces competition from companies like Atlys and Visa2Fly, which have also formed partnerships with various travel firms to expand their reach.

This news comes after Atlys, another online visa application platform, recently secured $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital and Peak XV Partners (formerly known as Sequoia Capital India).
