Speech AI Startup Contiinex Raises $2M in Pre-Series A Funding for Global Expansion

Contiinex, a startup specializing in speech AI, has successfully secured $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round from tech-focused venture fund houses YourNest and Refex Capital.
The raised capital is earmarked for bolstering Contiinex’s technology team and extending its footprint within the US market, as stated in the company’s press release.
Founded in December 2020 by Prateek Mehta and Vijay Krishna BS, Contiinex is targeting the global English-speaking speech market. It asserts to have already made a significant impact through its proprietary speech-to-text engine and the Contiinex Open Framework for Insights (COFI), which employs Large Language Model (LLM) technology. The startup’s successes have been evident in the healthcare and insurance sectors.
Contiinex’s solutions have revolutionized customer experiences, elevated business productivity, and optimized costs for enterprises across India, the US, and Australia. Its capabilities in accurately and efficiently analyzing voice files have empowered businesses to gain profound insights into their customers, enabling them to make informed strategic decisions.
The company has broader aspirations as well. It intends to expand its Gen AI product offerings to address unstructured data in various mediums, encompassing voice, chat, email, videos, and visuals.
