Ashish Arora Takes Helm as Chief Academic Officer at Narayana


Hyderabad-based educational powerhouse Narayana Educational Institutions has welcomed Ashish Arora as its newly appointed Chief Academic Officer. With an illustrious career spanning over three decades in the education sector, Arora’s rich expertise stems from his tenures at prestigious institutions like Bansal Classes, Resonance, FIITJEE, Allen, and Unacademy.

Arora’s fervor for Physics finds expression through his widely acclaimed YouTube channel, boasting a staggering 11.5 lakh subscribers and garnering more than 23 crore views.

The educational conglomerate Narayana, headquartered in Hyderabad, encompasses a broad spectrum of institutions, including schools, professional colleges, and coaching centers, spread across India. With a remarkable academic history of over 30 years, Arora has played a pivotal role in guiding aspirants through Physics-related streams, adequately preparing them for the rigorous JEE and NEET examinations. His prior positions have encompassed leadership roles across esteemed institutions like Bansal Classes, Resonance, FIITJEE, Allen, and the edtech giant Unacademy.

Arora is also celebrated for his influential YouTube presence through the channel ‘Physics Galaxy,’ which boasts a robust subscriber base of nearly 11.5 lakh individuals.

The Narayana Group, currently managing 649 educational establishments in 20 states, of which 354 are schools, has unveiled its ambitious expansion strategy to establish an additional 25 schools by 2025, involving an investment of Rs 125 crore. Recent reports suggest that the educational conglomerate is further poised to acquire stakes previously held by private equity players Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia and BanyanTree Finance in its subsidiary Nspira Management Services. The potential deal, valued at approximately Rs 1,400 crore, underscores Narayana’s dynamic growth trajectory.
