Navnit Nakra Named Chief Revenue Officer at Pine Labs

Pine Labs, the omnichannel platform for merchant commerce, has appointed Navnit Nakra as its chief revenue officer. In this role, Nakra will be tasked with formulating and implementing growth strategies, cultivating new business opportunities, optimizing processes for enhanced efficiencies, and maximizing revenue streams within the payments business sector in India.
Nakra, formerly the CEO for OnePlus in the Indian region, where he led operational and strategic initiatives, brings a wealth of experience to Pine Labs. He has also held pivotal positions at tech giants Apple and Citibank. During his time at Citibank, Nakra spent over 14 years in roles spanning consumer and institutional banking, including leadership of the Commercial Solutions group in India and regional oversight of the e-commerce segment across India, Greater China, and Korea.
Kush Mehra, President and CBO of Pine Labs, expressed confidence in Nakra’s capabilities, emphasizing his history with Pine Labs and his extensive industry insights. Mehra anticipates that Nakra’s appointment will further propel Pine Labs’ growth trajectory. Nakra’s appointment is seen as a reinforcement of Pine Labs’ commitment to digital payments and the ongoing transformation of India’s financial landscape. Nakra is also known for his dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion, as well as mentoring and advising emerging professionals and startups.
Nakra holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He commented on his new role, stating his enthusiasm for joining Pine Labs, an organization at the forefront of India’s digital payments revolution.
