Equirus Wealth Appoints Abhijit Bhave as MD and CEO, Strengthens Leadership Team

Equirus Wealth, a leading domestic wealth management firm, has announced the appointment of Abhijit Bhave as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Bhave, who previously served as an executive at Fisdom, will oversee the management and growth of Equirus Wealth’s wealth, asset management, digital wealth, and direct equities platforms, according to a company press release.
Equirus Wealth is part of the Equirus Group, which provides comprehensive investment banking services to corporate clients. The group’s offerings include equity capital markets, debt capital markets, structured finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, insurance broking, and wealth products. With Bhave’s appointment, Equirus aims to leverage his expertise and leadership to drive the growth and success of its wealth management business.

Bhave brings with him 28 years of experience in the financial services sector, including expertise in the wealth domain and strong leadership capabilities. Prior to joining Equirus Wealth, he held leadership positions at renowned organizations such as Fisdom, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, Karvy Private Wealth, UTI AMC, and BPCL.
