Female Cricket raises pre-seed funding from K-Man Ventures to enhance digital media coverage for women’s cricket


Female Cricket, the world’s first digital content and news platform dedicated entirely to women in cricket, is thrilled to announce a partnership with Canada-based K-Man Ventures. As an angel investment and venture capital firm, K-Man Ventures supports founders with investments and advice based on real-world experience.

Female Cricket has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed round from K-Man Ventures. The company will use the funds to enhance its digital and media coverage for women’s cricket. The company also has plans to create exclusive content to nurture and engage its existing fanbase of over 1.5 Million users.

Founded in 2016 by Mr. Vishal Yadav, Female Cricket has been in the business for over 7 years and since has connected with over 1.5 million female cricket enthusiasts through their social and digital channels. They also run a cricket academy, exclusively for girls, in Mumbai, India, and have trained over 350+ girls in the last 3 years.

Founder of K-Man Ventures, Mr. Kumar Erramilli, on the investment in Female Cricket, said, “Vishal has spotted a unique need to highlight the stories of Female athletes in the world of Cricket.
