Hitesh Sahijwaala appointed as EVP at Lentra

Lentra, a cloud-based digital lending platform, has added Hitesh Sahijwaala to its leadership team as the Executive Vice President (EVP) for India Sales and Distribution. This marks the third senior-level appointment at Lentra in the last six months, following the hiring of Haribandhu Patra as CFO and Bhuvaneswar Naik as CHRO in September.
As Lentra aims to expand its presence in the digital lending industry and increase its growth in India and Southeast Asia, Hitesh’s appointment as the Executive Vice President for India Sales and Distribution will be crucial in driving this expansion forward. His role will involve supporting Lentra’s platform as it scales up to serve major banks and NBFCs in the region.
With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Hitesh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role at Lentra. He has previously held positions at prominent companies such as Oracle, Red-hat, and Hewlett-Packard, and most recently served as the Regional Vice President of the Finserv Business Unit at Salesforce.
According to Sandeep Mathur, Lentra’s Chief Revenue Officer, ‘the company is delighted to have Hitesh on board. His leadership skills, extensive experience, and successful track record in boosting sales and revenue growth will be of immense value to Lentra as it strives to make a significant impact on its banking clients”.
In late 2022, Lentra secured US$60 million in a Series B funding round and declared its intention to expand throughout Southeast Asia. The company has already established a strong foothold in India, working with 60 partner banks and NBFCs and facilitating over 50 million loans through its platform.
