Elon Musk’s Twitter Suspends Indian rival Koo’s query handle

Elon Musk takes strike creating a buzz on the internet by suspending its Indian Foe: KOO, a microblogging platform based in Bangalore, which recently started developing a lot of hype after its first launch in the international region Brazil. It racked up to a million downloads in its first week. The platform initially offered kannada, but shortly after establishing in India it offered more languages like, punjabi, rajasthani and local languages for better reach, making this its USP, basically a platform open for all.

The suspension took place on Friday and shortly after that the Co-founders Mayank Bidawatka and Aprameya Radhakrishna took this case onto the official twitter account slamming Elon Musk for not standing up to what the company stands for. They posted how the liberty of free speech is being taken away in wake of Elon Musk.
Bidawatka also tweeted “I forgot. There’s more! – Banning Mastodon account. – Not allowing mastodon links saying it’s unsafe. – Banning Koo’s eminence handle. I mean seriously. How much more control does the guy need?” Bidawatka wrote as Mastodon, a competitor also gets banned on the same day. Not the first time twitter has done something like this, previously Global major journalists including CNN, New york times and Washington post have also been forbidden. All of this may come as a backlash to twitter affecting the brand.
