GVFL and Unicorn India Ventures help Gamerji raise $3 million in pre-Series A funding


E-sports competition website In a pre-Series A investment, Gamerji raised $3 million from GVFL (previously Gujarat Venture Finance Limited) and an earlier investor, Unicorn India Ventures.

The business will utilise the money to support its objectives for SEA, starting with Indonesia and the Philippines, as well as to expand its platform in the MENA area.

In order to improve the online gaming experience, the company also intends to use these funds to develop tech solutions and EaaS (E-sports-as-a-Service).

Gamerji, based in Ahmedabad, was established in 2019 by gaming expert and serial entrepreneur Soham Thacker with the goal of bridging the gap between amateur and professional gamers through tournaments. Players can compete, host matches, communicate, and receive recognition for their gaming prowess thanks to the company.
