Agritech startup Otipy appoints Rohit Sood as its chief business officer

Rohit Sood has been chosen as the Chief Business Officer of agritech startup Otipy, a marketplace for fresh fruits and vegetables, to lead the organization’s upcoming phase of growth.Senior retail and e-commerce executive
Rohit has more than 16 years of experience starting and growing businesses at reputable retailers and e-tailers like SPAR, Carrefour, Snapdeal, Paytm Mall, and JioMart.The business released a statement saying, “In his previous role, he was the growth marketing head for JioMart at Reliance Retail where he was responsible for demand generation for the JioMart B2C platform.

More than 5 lakh consumers are currently being served by Otipy in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR. Otipy receives its produce from more than 20,000 farmers in the states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.Crofarm Agriproducts Pvt Ltd manages Otipy. Varun Khurana introduced it in the year 2020.
