Awiros, a deeptech startup that creates an AI-based computer vision platform primarily for video processing, has secured $7 million in a Series A funding round headed by tech-focused venture capital firms Inflexor Ventures and Exfinity Venture Partners. VedaVC, renowned family offices, and UHNIs also participated in the current round of investment.
Awiros, founded in 2015 by Vikram Gupta and Yatin Kavishwar, is a device-agnostic Operating System (OS) enabling the rapid development and deployment of video AI applications.
The funds will be used to improve the company’s products, create its developer community, and expand its operations in India and other areas.
According to the company, this fundraising round would allow Awiros to grow its teams in India and the United States in both technological and sales-related tasks.

Vikram Gupta, CEO and Co-Founder of Awiros, said, “Awiros is one of the fastest growing companies in the video AI space in India and this funding round will help us build further momentum for global growth by increasing our market share, streamlining technical operations, and investing in the R&D of existing and new product categories. By onboarding seasoned deep-tech investors from Inflexor and Exfinity, Awiros will benefit heavily from their extensive experience in technology, international business, and scalable GTM.”
“We’re very excited to companion with Vikram, Yatin, and the crew at Awiros as they take their patented deeptech/AI-based pc imaginative and prescient working system and app retailer to international markets and proceed to develop within the home market. As cameras turn out to be much more ubiquitous globally, there will probably be an enormous addressable marketplace for their merchandise. The Awiros funding suits very effectively with Inflexor’s deeptech/tech IP theme and backing stable founders on this area,” stated Jatin Desai, Managing Accomplice at Inflexor Ventures.
