VsnapU, a Photography service platform, has raised over Rs 2 crore in a seed round of funding led by Inflection Point Ventures.
The funds raised will be utilised to enhance technology, innovate and grow the company, win additional contracts, and grow the team.
“Photographers should be available as easily as other professionals like doctors, engineers, or accountants. Booking a photographer should be as simple as booking a cab or ordering groceries. As social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Tumbler, and Pinterest gain popularity, the photography market is likely to witness rapid growth in the coming years.” said Parminder, Co-founder, and CEO, of VsnapU.
With hotel brands like Taj and The Leela, travel portals like MakeMyTrip and Thomas Cook, holiday activity planners like TripAdvisor, and platforms like Justdial, the startup currently has B2B agreements with them. They have completed over 30,000 shots and intend to grow their wedding photography business by forming new alliances with reputable wedding planners across the nation.
