100X.VC backed Baby food startup Bebe Burp raises funding


Baby food startup Bebe Burp, based out of Surat, has raised an unknown sum of funding from investors including Tirupati Oil’s Priyam Patel, Vadilal Group’s Lalpit Gandhi, Ratnamani Metals and Tubes’ Prashant Sanghavi, and Aadi Infrastructure’s Anish Mehta.

Bhavna Udernani, Adhaan Solutions; Vimal Ambani and Vishal Dokania of Durian Furniture; and Saurabh Agarwal, and Vineet Arya were other investors who participated in the financing round.

Bebe Burp has raised  $280,000 from investors that included Lead Angels, Lets Venture, and 100X.VC in march this year.

The latest round of funding took the company’s total funding to $375,000  

The company stated that the funds will be utilised primarily to pursue strategic opportunities and establish new commercial relationships. In addition, the company intends to invest more to develop new marketing strategies, business development, R&D, and hiring.

 According to a release by the company, the funds will then be used to expand the existing product line, which includes porridge mixes, snacks, and puffs for babies.

In order to achieve the company’s long-term goals, the company plans to hire new talent to expand their in-house team.

“It has always been our goal to provide healthy alternatives of baby food to mothers. We are excited about the recent round of investments that has demonstrated the investment community’s confidence in Bebe Burp.” said Shruti Tibrewal, co-founder of Bebe Burp.
