Alternative investment platform Grip launches start-up equity investment


Aiming to provide access to its investors in the startup ecosystem, Grip launches a start-up equity investment as low as ₹2 lakh. The startup investment equity product is launched in collaboration with SEBI registered AIFs( Alternative investment funds).

With the access to curated deals, investors would now be able to invest alongside the venture capital funds and strategic investors in start-ups.The opportunity comes with certain criteria, the funding round will be led by venture capital fund who will agree on a valuation. Users and investors would participate in the fundraise executed by SEBI registered AIF.

In over a year, this fintech platform has facilitated ₹75cr in investment from a strong 80,000 userbase. Over 40% of its users use it again to invest with the userbase growing 30% per month.

Grip Invest, a financial technology platform, was founded by Nikhil Agarwal and and Vivek Gulati in 2020 allows investors to participate in in inventory financing transaction and in lease.Grip invest advisors Pvt Ltd. has a community of 2,50,000 investors and a community of more than 80 partners.
