Ash Lilani, the managing partner at Saama Capital said that Saama Capital believes in unmet demands in the baby care sector and that there is an evident shift towards better-for-you, high-quality goods across the verticals. Also, the user approach and robust brand recall of SuperBottoms excites our entire firm. She also mentioned that they are delighted to partner up with Pallavi in the journey to be the brand of choice for baby products.

SuperBottoms will use the funds accumulated to invest in awareness initiatives related to cloth diapers to a larger audience base. Deepak Shahdadpuri, the managing director at DSG Consumer Partners also said that the use of cloth diapers in the country is anticipated to reach to global levels due to the preference of Indians for cloth nappies. The startup is on the positive side of the undeserved baby care segment in India.
