Prime Minister set to launch Madhya Pradesh startup policy next week

Omprakash Sakhlecha, the minister of micro, small and medium enterprises said that Madhya Pradesh Government is ready to launch the MP startup policy on 13th May 2022. PM Modi will launch the startup policy virtually on the said date. He said that it has been a great effort of the state in order to generate more employment for local youths through innovation and entrepreneurship.
He also added that Madhya Pradesh is one of the leading states in economic development. The state also has investment-friendly policies along with the process of simplification in the business sector, and special efforts in economic as well as social infrastructure have led to a notable increase in the investments.
The startup policy is intended to provide institutional ease of doing business, infrastructure, procurement policy also marketing and other perks to staff. It also incorporates special financial and non-financial facilities to devise product-based startups. Recently, the Delhi government also launched Delhi Startup Policy including initiatives that would facilitate entrepreneurship and make Delhi India’s startup capital.

The Delhi government will also hire agencies as well as professionals under the startup policy to help startup policy free of cost, including the lawyers and chartered accountants that would help startups with their legal proceedings like GST filing, trademark registration, etc. In the month of April, the Tamil Nadu government also, ramped up its startup policy to promote more startups.
Sivarajah Ramanathan, the Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission (TANSIM) CEO said that it plans to promote the formation of a minimum of 10,000 startups in the state by 2026. He further said that they will promote entrepreneurship networks in colleges that will ensure more startups receive more funding outside Chennai and Coimbatore.
