Bollywood actor Rakul Preet Singh invests D2C start-up Wellbeing Nutrition

D2C health and nutrition start-up Wellbeing Nutrition raised an undisclosed amount of funds from Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Rakul Preet Singh.
Set up in 2019 by Avinash Chhabria, Wellness Nutrition is a plant-based whole food nutrition company that provides vitamin and mineral supplements for daily wellness, functional nutrition, kids organic nutrition and natural nutricosmetics. The start-up has led many innovative technological advancements in the field of nutrition such as ‘Melts’ oral thin strips which allow better absorption of nutrition, multi layered effervescent tablets and their latest launch – Slow capsules that follow an eight-hour delayed release mechanism.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh, also the brand ambassador of Wellbeing Nutrition, is a keen supporter of healthy lifestyle and has funded many health and wellness start-ups. She also owns a gym chain in Hyderabad, named F-45. She has also launched an app called ‘Starring You’.
“At Wellbeing Nutrition, our aim is to provide organic solutions in the most technologically efficient way. Rakul echoes our vision completely. Her clean-eating, healthy-living ethos makes her an ideal fit for Wellbeing Nutrition,” said founder Chhabria.
The actress’ investment succeeded the Series A round of funding in June last year, which was led by Fireside Ventures and witnessed participation brom ACG, who are the leading integrated solution providers in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
With the vision to build an ecosystem of well-being, the start-up owns over 2000+ stores across India and over 5000+ stores across the world and has tied up with Disney to launch a series of organic vitamins, probiotics and omega products for kids.
