Technology company Smartron has launched the Tbike Onex on 3 march (Thursday). This second-generation ebike, tbike OneX, priced at Rs 38,000, excluding GST, for the business-to-business (B2B) segment. The multi-modular, multi-purpose and multi-utility vehicle primarily targets rideshare and delivery markets, comes with a top speed of 25 kmph and over 100 km range with battery swapping and on-board charging options. With this launch, the company said it now has five tbike models in its product portfolio.
The ONEX is based on the tronX platform, which along with the tbike app and tlock offers a range of customized fleet and rider management features with easy integration into existing IT systems of rideshare and delivery service providers. They also come with remote vehicle monitoring and diagnostics and real-time business intelligence such as asset utilization, battery status, asset location, remote lock/ unlock and geofencing etc. Since the SMARTRON TBIKE ONEX is completely built in India, it eliminates the challenges of the current supply chain and logistics. This is a particular problem that companies importing bikes from China and other countries are facing. Speaking of which, ONEX is the first multi-purpose feature of magnesium alloy wheels, with puncture-proof tires, and a lifetime warranty on the frame.

The bike’s frame is also designed of aluminum making it lightweight and rust-proof, as well. The bike can do 25 kmph of maximum speed and have a range of 100 km+ of range on electric power only. It also features swappable battery technology and onboard charging options.
“We are delighted to announce the launch of tbike oneX, which is our second-generation multi-purpose ebike. “It is built on highly successful tbike One and One Pro. While tbike oneX is designed for the rideshare market, we envision it being used for lifestyle, tourism, e-commerce, e-pharmacies, e-groceries, etc,” said Smartron founder and Chairman Mahesh Lingareddy.
