Agritech startup Krishify raised $3.5 million for expanding its business

Krishify is an agriculture-based startup founded by alumni of IIT Rajesh Ranjan, Manish Agrawal, and Avinash Kumar in 2019. It is a social network for farmers and rural communities. Farmers, rural families, retailers, traders, and companies can easily discover, communicate, and transact among themselves.
Krishify app has more than 6.5 million downloads and 1.3 million monthly active users, making it India’s largest social network for farmers and rural communities. By using Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and machine learning it delivers highly personalized experiences to all its consumer.

It works as a social network for Indian farmers and closed $6.2 million in a funding round that witness the valued participation of VC fund Omnivore with its existing investors Orios Venture Partners, Ankur Capital and Omidyar Network India. Krishify raised $2.7 million in August 2021 before closing the Pre-Series A round that got it an additional $3.5 million.
