Sprinto gets $10 million in a Series A round of funding

Sprinto, a software-as-a-service (Saas) compliance automation platform, has acquired $10 million in Series A investment headed by Elevation Capital with participation from Accel and Blume Ventures.

The money will be used to grow the company’s personnel across critical operations and R&D, according to a statement. Blume Ventures provided $1.5 million in early investment to the startup in January 2020.

Sprinto is a compliance automation software that helps SaaS firms get compliances such as SOC 2, ISO27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and others. It was founded by Girish Redekar and Raghuveer Kancherla and debuted last year. Sprinto customers may quickly close business purchases and pass vendor security evaluations by obtaining these compliances.

Businesses are increasingly depending on compliances like SOC 2 to ensure that their SaaS suppliers maintain their data safe as corporate SaaS continues to grow tremendously.

For SaaS enterprises of all sizes, SOC2 compliance has now become a revenue concern. Sprinto intends to become the infosec OS of choice for SaaS service providers, recognizing this expanding demand, Kancherla stated.

Sprinto, according to Deepak Gaur, partner at Elevation Capital, “solves a crucial business requirement in a rising industry.” It has produced a world-class solution that is quickly establishing itself as the compliance automation platform of choice for SaaS enterprises and gaining a lot of positive feedback from customers.
