Event Tech startup airmeet raises $35 MN from Prosus, Sistema Asia Fund

Bengaluru-based event led engagement startup Airmeet has brought $35 Mn up in Series B round from new financial backers Prosus Ventures, Sistema Asia Fund, RingCentral Ventures, KDDI Open Innovation Fund, DG Daiwa Ventures and Nexxus Global. The round additionally saw interest from existing financial backers Sequoia Capital India and Accel India.
The startup intends to utilize the assets to grow its impressions in the worldwide commercial center while betting on putting resources into R&D and scaling its GTM work.

The current round follows Airmeet’s Series A series of $12 Mn in September 2020 and $3 Mn in a seed round in March 2020 from Sequoia, Accel India, Venture Highway and Global Founders Capital among others.
Established in 2019 by Lalit Mangal, Vinay Kumar Jasti, and Manoj Kumar Singh, Airmeet is a web based gathering and occasion facilitating stage. On Airmeet, rather than just communicating the occasion, members can interface with other occasion participants for balanced and one-to-numerous web-based connections.
