Smart Kitchen Management Platform Sortizy raises $100,000 in a fresh funding round

Smart kitchen management platform Sortizy has recently revealed that it has raised a consolidated sum of $100,000 in a funding round led by venture capital firm Campus Fund.
The startup officials have revealed that the recent round of funding is likely to be utilised to scale and market the operations of the startup. Currently the startup has over 150 chef partners in over 10 nations and wishes to increase the same significantly over this financial year.
Talking about the recent round of fundraise and the expectation of the fund, the Partner at Campus Fund, Anirudh Toshinwal said, “The product Sortizy has to offer can truly build a cooking community while also completely addressing the ‘way to cook’ aspect of it. This can be a solid proposition and coupled with the right execution, it’ll be interesting to see how this evolves.”
Founded in 2020 by Surbhi Guha of NIT Warangal and Sagthi Prakash of IIT Kharagpur, along with Akshay and Nitin Gupta, Sortizy offers recipes and cooking lessons on video as well as a feature that allows users to plan their meals as well grocery purchases.The platform offers the content creators an opportunity to publish their recipes, share their experience with others, while engaging with their viewers through creation of micro-communities on the platform.
