Talkiatry, a tech-enabled psychiatric care startup, has closed its $37 million Series A funding round.
In July, the company announced that it had raised $20 million in funding. The additional $17 million was contributed by Left Lane Capital, which was also a participant last year.
Dr. Richard Park, the founder of City MD, Sikwoo Capital Partners, and Relevance Ventures are among the other investors in the mental health startup.

Talkiatry is currently only active in New York, where it has two offices, but it intends to expand. The startup plans to use the funds from its Series A round to expand its services across the United States and secure more contracts with national payers.
In a statement, Cofounder and CEO Robert Krayn said, “Talkiatry has been successful in demonstrating our value and commitment to our insurance partners, who are rewarding our approach of high-quality and responsible healthcare with national insurance contracts that cover over 200 million lives.” “Our team is dedicated to meeting the needs of our psychiatrists and insurance providers.”
