Bengaluru based startup Bambrew raises $2.35 million in Pre-Series A round

Bengaluru based green startup Bambrew has raised a sum of $2.35 million in a Pre-Series A round of funding led by Blue Ashva Capital and Supack Industries. The round also witnessed participation from Mumbai Investors and other prominent angel investors.
Bambrew is India’s largest one-stop innovative solution provider of sustainable packaging as against the conventional single use plastic option.
The company officials have stated that the startup intends to utilize the freshly infused capital to build India’s first technology enabled platform to source its green packaging. Further, the startup also aims to increase its supply capacity, expan into multiple cities and invest in R&D of new sustainable materials as well as strengthen its team.

Talking about the recent round of fundraise, the founder and CEO of Bambrew, Vaibhav said, “People and businesses are having increased awareness of the perils of Single Use Plastic (SUP) usage. We are elated to see the changing consumer behaviours to consider alternatives. This strengthens our vision and belief to reduce the usage of SUP and help make our planet a better place for the current and future generations. Over the past 2 years, we have seen 50x growth and envision further higher growth scale in the upcoming year.”
