FinMin To Meet With Infosys Over Tax Filing Portal

Finance Ministry officials will soon schedule a meeting with Infosys to discuss the certain glitches that users continue to face in the e-filing portal. FinMin to meet with Infosys therefore to resolve all the inconveniences that had caught the attention of the government the users are facing. Although Infosys has assured FinMin that they are themselves looking over the issue, but it might take a week to fully identify and fix the problem.

FinMin to meet with Infosys representatives, auditors, consultants of the tech giant and tax payers on June 22. The new portal has been fraught with several issues which is leading to taxpayers inconvenience. Stakeholders have also been asked to submit written representation of the problem. The Central Board of Direct Taxes has also assured Infosys team will be present to answer any questions regarding the portal.
