AI Startup Salesken raises $22 million in Series B round of funding


AI startup Salesken announced that it has raised $22 million in its series B round of funding led by M12, Microsoft’s Venture Funds. The round also saw participation from existing investor Sequoia Capital.

The recently infused capital would be utilized by the firm to accelerate expansion across the North American region and invest further into its proprietary deep tech product. The startup further intends to expand its team size by double and spend on training of the new talent.

Talking about the company the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Salesken, Surga Thilakan stated, “Salesken has dramatic outcomes on sales conversions, improving top-line by 20-25 per cent within a few months of use. This RoI impact has seen us grow by over 300 per cent in the last year. We are looking forward to keeping up the pace of our growth and continue to hire the best quality talent to help us in our journey of building a world-class product.”

Launched in 2020, Salesken is a Bengaluru based startup which aims to reduce the on-boarding time for its clients by offering live assistance from sales representatives. Salesken improves the revenue per representative by developing insights on gaps in their sales calls and bridging the gap with real-time cues to the sales reps. Currently, 10% of the company’s revenue is recorded from the US market which it intends to increase to 30% in the coming years.
