Cora Health secures Rs. 4.6 Cr in seed funding
Cora Health recently raised Rs 4.6 crore in its seed round of funding led by Indian Angel Network (IAN). The round saw participation from Vishnuraj Kunjur, KRS Jamwal, and Ajay Upadhyaya, Tholons Capital, Family Office of Dr Apurva Parekh (Pidilite Industries Limited), and Kushagra Pant (Nomura), among others.
The company plans to improve its tech and engineering capabilities using the fresh inflow of capital.
Cora Health co-founder Snigdha Kumar stated, “Health needs are individualistic, and therefore, at Cora, we are building a guided marketplace with the goal of simplifying healthy living. We are helping customers choose products that suit their Dietary preference, lifestyle and health goals.”
Founded in 2020 by Former Flipkart colleagues Snigdha Kumar and Shrijit Venkatesh, Cora Health aims to simplify the wellness journey of Indians who are looking to improve their health through dietary and lifestyle changes.
Commenting on the investment, Vishnuraj Kumar stated, “With the current lifestyle, consumption of healthy products which are naturally grown, made without preservatives are no longer an option, it’s a must for all. Cora Health has created a vertical commerce ecosystem where nutritionists, healthy producers, and customers interact on a platform. Customers buy day-to-day healthy products from the Cora marketplace.”
