Reliance Jio’s Haptik claims 300% yoy growth
Jio’s Conversational AI builder Haptik has reported a 300 per cent year-on-year basis and is steadfast in their belief in e-commerce facilities getting developed on instant messaging platform WhatsApp.
The business of the company is, reportedly, growing steadily overseas, with the primary market being the United States. Co-founder and CEO Akrit Vaish spoke about the situation and stated, “We have grown every year consistently by about 300 percent. We just closed the month of August also at triple digits as compared to last year. The major part of what we’re doing is expanding globally to various markets, the US being the primary market.”
Jio has committed to invest $67 million in Haptik over the course of the next three to five years. Haptik currently provides its services to Dream11, Oyo, Lenskart, Ola Cabs, Havells, Ceat, and Pepperfry among others. The platform provides to its clients AI-based chatbots that respond to customer queries and issues.
The company expressed a great deal of anticipation for the growth that will come from e-commerce facilities being developed by IM app WhatsApp. Vaish believes that WhatsApp is on its way to becoming ‘the new storefront for digital India.’
