Qapita raises $15M in Series A round


With participation from NYCA, MassMutual Ventures, Endiya Partners, and other existing investors, Qapita, a provider of equity management SaaS solutions, closed a Series A round of $15 million. 

Angel investors from India, Singapore, and Indonesia participated in this round, including Alto Partners, Partners of the Northstar Group, K3 Ventures, Mission Holdings, Anjali Bansal, and Sujeet Kumar.

In a press release, Qapita said the funds would be used to add more software products, liquidity solutions, and a digital marketplace for securities. Also, Singapore, Indonesia, and India will be added to the company’s client base.

Qapita was founded by Ravi Ravulaparthi, Lakshman Gupta, and Vamsee Mohan to help firms and startups record and manage capitalization tables and employee stock ownership plans. 

In earlier rounds of funding, the two-year-old startup had raised $7.25 million.
