Singapore-based logistics startup Ninja Van secures $578M Series E

Singapore-based logistics start-up has completed a $ 578 million Series E round to support the growth of operational infrastructure and technology systems.
Investors include Alibaba Group of China and existing investors DPDgroup, GeoPost, Facebook, Co-founder Eduardo Savering’s B Capital Group, Monk’s Hill Ventures, and Zamrud, a sovereign wealth fund managed by Brunei, are based on that statement.
According to media reports, the latest round topped the list with a valuation of over $ 1 billion, as early as next year’s initial public offering. Ninja Van will use revenue to strengthen its business, including micro-supply chain solutions to optimize e-commerce opportunities in Southeast Asia.

This round will come later. Its $279 million Series D round. The valuation in May 2020 is about $ 750 million. Ninja Van delivers about 2 million packages a day and claims to have more than 1.5 million active shippers and about 100 million recipients. Founded in 2014, the company has operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. It currently employs more than 61,000 staff.
