One-stop platform for startups ecosystem launched in Telangana


A one-stop portal- Startup Telangana was launched to further fuel a holistic support mechanism for startups. The portal will provide all startup-related services in a time-bound manner, including startup recognition, grievance redressal, mentorship, and incentive disbursement mechanism. Also, it will act as a central place for knowledge dissemination about the state’s support to the startups, according to an official note. 

It will also serve as a focal point for information on the state’s assistance for entrepreneurs. The portal contains accurate and detailed information regarding Startup Ecosystem of Telangana, as well as any related government orders, policies, circulars, and initiatives.

Telangana government also unveiled a new ICT Policy and aimed to develop Information Technology and IT-enabled services sector in the State. It targets to double exports to ₹3 lakh crore and create more than three lakh additional jobs over the next five years.

T-FACE, which is a virtual incubation platform for supporting startups in VLSI/Fabless Chip designing space, was also launched.

The launching event was led by Minister for ITE&C, KT Rama Rao along with the chief guest Rekha Menon, Chairperson, NASSCOM, BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder of Cyient, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary to ITE&C, and Shanta Thoutam, Chief Innovation Officer of the State.
