Zypp Electric Elevates Tushar Mehta As Co-Founder And COO


 

Zypp Electric, a last-mile delivery firm, announced on Thursday that Tushar Mehta has been promoted to Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help the company grow its business and revenue 100-fold by 2025.

Mehta formerly worked at Ola Cabs and Cars24, an e-commerce marketplace for used vehicles, where he held executive positions. According to Zypp Electric, the move is in accordance with the company’s commitment to continued growth by adding to its leadership team and strategically fulfilling its goals of preserving operational efficiency while capturing a larger market.

In September 2021, Mehta was hired as the company’s Business Head. His primary tasks in his new post will involve increasing Zypp’s whole business and guaranteeing long-term growth initiatives, according to the company.

He will be in charge of guiding Zypp in developing new solutions to address the delivery and mobility issues in the EV area. According to the press release, the company intends to increase sales by 10 times in the coming fiscal year and 100 times by 2025. It also intends to roll out 20,000 electric vehicles in 2022, followed by 1.5 lakh by 2025.

Zypp has worked with various E-commerce companies in the logistics, grocery, food, and pharma sectors in the last several months to ensure sustainable last-mile delivery for all, including Zomato, Swiggy, BigBasket, Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, PharmEasy, Delhivery, Spencers, and others.
