Wipro’s CEO Gets A Win Of $8.8 Million In FY21

Wipro’s CEO gets a win despite 2021 not being the best year for most companies, especially with Covid-19 second wave. But Wipro is taking home a handsome amount of $8.8 million. He therefore secures a place among the top three richest executives of the country.
Thierry Delaporte took charge as the executive of the company in June 2020, according to Wipro’s statement to the US Securities and Exchange commission. However, a one time award and stock grants boosted his earnings, and Wipro’s CEO gets a win.
In another news, Infosys chief executive Salil Parekh’s total compensation was Rs 49.68 crore (about $6.78 million), and Rajesh Gopinathan, CEO of Tata Consultancy Services, largest IT company of India, took home, with him a total of Rs 20.3 crore (about $2.8 million), according to the latest annual reports of both companies.
