Vedantu appoints Nikhil Rungta as Chief Growth Officer

Nikhil Rungta has been appointed as the chief growth officer of ed-tech platform Vedantu. Rungta will report to Vedantu’s CEO and co-founder, Vamsi Krishna. In his new role, he will be in charge of growing and driving growth across all business units, with a focus on brand, social and digital marketing, strategic alliances, public relations, and YouTube.
Rungta will also play a key role in bolstering the Vedantu brand and assisting in the company’s growth as one of India’s most popular online education providers among students, parents, and teachers.
Over the course of his 20-year career, Rungta has worked for companies such as Google, Intuit, Yahoo, Reliance Jio, Housing.com, and Yatra.com. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from Hindu College, Delhi University, and a postgraduate diploma in business administration (PGDBA) in marketing with an emphasis on international business. He is a seasoned executive with extensive expertise in consumer internet, technology, and SaaS companies.
