TuSimple Becomes First to Successfully Operate Driver Out, Fully Autonomous Semi-truck on Open Public Roads


TuSimple (Nasdaq: TSP), a global autonomous driving technology company, has successfully completed the world’s first fully autonomous semi-truck race on open public roads without anyone. on the vehicle and without human intervention. The race is held on December 22 and requires TuSimple self-service pickup trucks to begin their journey from a major railroad site in Tucson, Ariz., and travel more than 80 miles on  streets and highways speeding at night, to safety at a high-volume distribution center in the Phoenix subway station. During the journey, TuSimple’s automatic driving system & # 40; ADS & # 41; Successfully navigated surface roads, traffic lights, ramps, exits, emergency lanes, and highway lane changes in clear traffic while naturally interacting with drivers other cars.
